New Pieces!

Hi everyone,

First off, I'd like to apologize for the lateness of this post.  The past week has been monumentally hectic with classes ending.  But anyways, on to the post!

So if you’ve been cruising around my website, you’ve probably seen the page labeled “my work,” displaying some writing, slam poetry, and marketing projects.  For the past month or so that page has remained relatively unchanged… but not for much longer.  Over the next few weeks I’m planning on adding three more pieces to that portfolio, one today, one in the next few days (hopefully), and one in the next few weeks.

The piece I’ll be adding to the portfolio today is a flash fiction story I’ve written for my Science Fiction class.  It’s not so much science fiction as it is a speculative fiction piece with a religious focus, but I really enjoyed putting it together all the same.

Hopefully over the next few days I’ll get my hands on the video of my most recent spoken work poetry performance, which happened over this past weekend.  Once I get it that will also go into the portfolio.  This piece was a lot of fun to write and perform, and once it’s up I’m sure you’ll be able to understand why.

Also in the next few weeks I’ll also be finishing up a piece for my class about the history of the Olympic Games, a creative piece in which I propose and design a possible opening ceremony for the Boston 2024 Olympic Games.  I’m still working on it, but It’s turning out to be a whole lot of fun and I’m very excited to see where I end up taking it and what it turns into.

Hope you all get the chance to check them out and enjoy them as they get posted!

Here’s to the weekend,
